Chile 2025 report

The story really began before the mission. This was my second trip to Chile. God opened a door back in 2024 for the maiden voyage and now the floodgates for the gospel are wide open in this nation. After working with local and regional leaders, we came up with a budget of about $25,000 to cover the costs of all crusades, travel and team needs. We had intended to do a large crusade in a city called Talca which hadn't had any such outreach in over twenty years. We had reserved a 5,000 seat gymnasium for the event. The crusade never happened due to lack of funds.

About six weeks before the mission, my car broke down while I was on the way to church one Sunday. A man stopped by to help me push it to the side of the road. I thanked him and he promptly left. I decided to walk to church since it was three blocks away. No use worrying about my car until afterwards. As I walked into the lobby and grabbed a coffee, I saw a familiar face. We both paused and smiled at each other. It was the man who had helped me with my car. We both knew God was up to something. After a brief introduction, I joined he and his family for the church service. During the service, I looked up. Directly above me was the CHILEAN flag! Not only that... but it was waving in the wind as if alive. There were numerous other flags representing the nations of the world ... but only the Chilean flag was moving... I knew this was a sign from the Lord. Just when everything seemed to be going wrong, God used a breakdown to give me a prophetic sign that breakthrough was coming. The gentleman's name was Jason, and he and his family decided to write a check for the Chile mission. God turned what initially seemed like an attack from the enemy into a victory! And my car eventually got fixed.

Finances were not the only obstacle. While boarding his flight in Nicaragua to head to Chile, my translator was stopped at the gate. "You cannot board this flight." said the stewardess. I got a call at about 4am from Ramon Garcia saying they weren't going to let him get on his flight because he didn't have the right visa to pass through Costa Rica! We prayed and they had to reroute him through El Salvador instead (for an extra fee of $200). After El Salvador, he had to head to Colombia and then Chile. (Yes... lots of connections.) Thirty minutes into his flight to Colombia, a man on the plane begins having a full blown seizure causing the pilot to turn around and make an emergency medical landing back at the airport. After finally getting to Colombia, Ramon had to run down the terminal and made his connection flight with minutes to spare by the grace of God...

Additionally, one of the pastors in Chile looked at me during the mission and said, "We experienced heavy opposition to this mission." He proceeded to tell me that his granddaughter got mysteriously sick about a month earlier. She was so ill she was hospitalized and for nearly a week they were not sure if she was going to make it...

In over a decade of ministry around the world, I've learned that the devil will not opppose anyone who isn't a threat to his kingdom. The greater the opposition, the more I know that I am in the center of God's will. This mission was no exception.

So here is what happened. We arrived in Santiago, Chile May 21, 2025 and were greeted by our hosts brother Nelson Martinez and others. After spending a few days in Santiago and preaching in Tiempo de Libertad, we headed to San Fernando. San Fernando will always have a special place in my heart as it was the first city in which we did a major crusade in South America and in Chile. We ministered in a couple of churches and held a one night crusade in the theatre downtown. There were perhaps 300 in attendance. Close to 20 gave their lives to Christ that night and a number of people experienced healing miracles. We then met with the mayor and prayed with him the following day. He's a believer and very receptive to the work of the gospel in his city. He's like a Daniel type.

We then proceeded to San Clemente where we held another crusade of similar size to San Fernando and saw similar results. This was in conjunction with pastor Jose Parra and was one of the first evangelistic campaigns the city had had for some time. This particular meeting had a different flavor of the work of the Spirit. Many people testified to experiencing "inner healing" more so than any other kind. A woman named Claudia said that God healed her of deep wounds due to her parents both having died in a car accident in that city many years ago.

I'd like to pause to comment on the culture and receptivity of the Chilean people. First of all, they are very warm. Everyone greets one another with a hug and often a kiss on the cheek. We stayed with many incredible people including the Cardenas family in San Fernando. We stayed with pastors Marco and Marilu in Talca. Both families couldn't have honored and loved on us more. There is a depth of intimacy, love and appreciation we experienced from the Chilean people that is lacking in the United States. Chile is furthermore a beautiful country reminiscent of the West Coast of the United States with long beach lines, towering mountains, sprawling cities, lush wineries and more. Truly a blessed country.

After finishing up in San Clemente, we made our way to Constitucion. This is a beautiful beach city that experienced a devastating tsunami over a decade ago. The cliffs stand along the seashore like giants guarding the land. Homes and businesses are nestled along the coastline and among the hills. When we arrived, the city was experiencing a lot of grief and anger. There had been a recent incident where a number of local fishermen 9 in total had been killed due to an "accident." There apparently was a large barge that ran right through the smaller vessel called "The Bruma" cutting it in two and the bodies went missing. Upon further investigation body parts of the deceased sailors were discovered aboard the main vessel. The large corporation owning the vessel supposedly launched an investigation and there was only one eye witness to the accident which apparently happened at night. This eye witness was later found dead of apparent suicide. The whole thing was incredibly fishy and left many people angry and demanding accountability and justice for the deaths. This was the atmosphere of the city when we entered. As we were heading to the crusade venue, the Holy Spirit began to download a message into my spirit. I preached on "The Greatest Injustice" and talked about how we may not always get every answer we want in this world. We cry out for justice and ask why suffering happens. This was the perfect segway to talk about the injustice of the cross. The perfect Son of God took what he did not deserve so that we could get what we did not deserve, the mercy of God. Only through forgiveness and trusting God to bring healing and justice in his time would this community find healing. Many responded to the gospel that afternoon. It was one of the highlights from the mission.

Our final stop was in the city of Talca. This is where we were supposed to have had the larger crusade. We only wound up raising half of the total budget and therefore the larger venue was cancelled. I was honestly very disappointed and angry about this. A great opportunity seemed to be lost because of apathy in the Body of Christ. But after prayer, I surrendered it to the Lord and realized that I had done my part. I was going to give all the love and energy I had into preaching the gospel to whatever crowd there was, be it a hundred or five thousand. While in Talca we partnered with some local YWAM groups (JUCUM in Spanish). We went into the schools and preached the gospel to the kids who were all very receptive. We saw many give their lives to Christ and also stay after classes for counseling with some of the women or to meet myself and Ramon. In addition to schools, we visited a women's prison one afternoon. We preached in two cell blocks to a total of about 60 women. At least 10 gave their lives to Christ, with some others rededicating. 90% of the women wanted to receive prayer at the end. A few women were on their knees weeping profusely. My heart was genuinely moved to see such desperation and pain meeting the peace, joy and love of Jesus. One woman named Paloma had a tattoo on her neck and responded very openly to the gospel. My translator Ramon told me that during prayer earlier, he had seen a vision of a woman with a tattoo on her neck. The Lord had showed him in advance that we would meet Paloma and she would be saved.

I preached in La Roca in Talca at pastor Marco y Marilu's church. They received us warmly and a number of people were healed in the congregation. We held a final two day crusade Friday and Saturday that week in the town center at a theatre that had been converted into a church. The first was for youth and the second was a general crusade. Both nights we saw 200 - 300 people in attendance. So these were not massive gatherings. Nevertheless, in all of the meetings we saw people born again and set on fire. The presence of the Holy Spirit was tangible in those crusades, particularly the youth crusade. Many of the pastors and leaders commented that in their estimation, it was one of the most powerful nights of ministry in the entire mission.

I'd like to share a few specific testimonies of lives changed. While in San Fernando, I was ministering at Pastor Patricio's church called "Lion of Judah." There was a young woman there who came forward for prayer. As I was praying for her, I could feel heaviness and oppression. I began rebuking the work of the enemy over her life and I also felt in my spirit to specifically rebuke the spirit of witchcraft, which I did. She began to crumple and weep profusely as the Holy Spirit began ministering to her. I gave her a long hug afterward as I felt she needed the love of God. At the end of the service, this precious young sister named Veronica came forward to testify that she was severely depressed and had been contemplating taking her own life. She said that as I prayed for her, she felt burdens falling off of her. Her countenance was visibly different and she now radiated joy! She said that she asked God to forgive her for even thinking about ending her life. Life is a great gift from God! The devil is such a liar. This is why I am more determined than ever to keep preaching the gospel. Satan is trying to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus has come that we may have life and life abundant!

Another testimony that stands out to me is when we were in a mall in Santiago at the beginning of the mission. There was a group of young people clustered one morning as Ramon and I were having coffee at Starbucks. I was not in ministry mode to be perfectly honest but I could feel the Holy Spirit drawing me to this crowd of young people standing near by. I didn't want to do it in that moment so I went to the bathroom and prayed in the Spirit for about 5 minutes. "Lord make me willing and give me the grace." I told myself that if they were still there when I came back, that I was going to share the gospel with them. And sure enough, they were. I approached and simply began sharing my testimony of salvation and that God had called me Chile to preach the good news. They all listened intently and a few of them prayed at the end to receive Jesus! There was one young man named Sebastian that I could tell really got it. The lesson is that the Church must be the River of God outside the four walls. This is the only way that society will be changed. Jesus never told the world to go into the church to get saved. But he did tell the Church to go into all the world and preach the gospel!

While we were in Talca staying with pastor Marco and Marilu and their family, Marco began telling me that he had a brother named Max who was unsaved. He had lived in the world, making money, drinking and living a sinful lifestyle. He recently had a serious medical issue (I don't remember exactly what) but he was currently in the hospital on life support and in a coma. I felt the faith to join with Marco to pray for a total miracle for his brother Max. We interceded for his salvation and that God would bring him back from the dead. Within 24 hours Max woke up from his coma!!! We are continuing to pray for his salvation. But I know that God will do it.

In San Fernando, there was a man named Rafa. He was a recovering drug addict who had gone through a Christian based recovery program. We had met him in 2024 during our first mission to Chile. He served as our personal chef while we stayed with Hector and Cristina Cardenas in San Fernando. We had many mornings to talk with him, pray with him, befriend him while we stayed during the mission. We were able to strengthen his faith in Christ and pray for him to receive the Holy Spirit. He told us that during the week we spent with him, that his life was changed. He was weeping when we left. We encouraged him to stay strong in the Lord and that God had a great purpose for his life. We prayed and prophesied over him. His dream is to start his own restaurant and use it to minister to people.

During the final crusade in Talca, we met a woman named Esmeralda. She had heard about the meeting via Facebook. She told us that she wasn't even sure whether it was real or she should come but decided to anyways. She had severe back pain and various other health issues that were not getting better. As I was leaving the first night, she grabbed my translator's arm and said, "I have to talk to the evangelist." She was shaking and weeping as she told us her story. During the preaching and ministry, as I began to rebuke sickness and declare healing in Jesus' name, she felt as if her back was experiencing a supernatural chiropractic adjustment in real time by the power of the Holy Spirit! She said she felt like a wind and fire going through her body and all her pain and symptoms had been healed! She could barely compose herself due to the shock and awe of this miracle. Furthermore, she said that her daughter who also had many health problems was going to come the following night. Her daughter came the second night, got completely healed and gave her life to Jesus too!!! Hallelujah!

There were many other testimonies of healing, salvation, and deliverance. We saw so many confirmations from the Holy Spirit that we were exactly in the right place. We are so grateful for the open door to this precious nation. So many showed us love. Thank you to all who gave and prayed for this mission. Souls will be in Heaven and suffering lives have been made whole because of your partnership. To God be the glory.

The theme of this mission was: THE RIVER OF GOD

Ez. 47, John 7:38, Is. 55, Ps. 46:4, Rev. 22

[Eze 47:9 NKJV] 9 "And it shall be [that] every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.

[Jhn 7:38-39 NKJV] 38 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet [given], because Jesus was not yet glorified.
